Every Sunday, Tom and I try to find somewhere new to visit in Edinburgh and we thought we'd been to all the hipster coffee shops in the area until Machina Espresso appeared in nearby places on Google Maps.

It's a little hidden away from the main road, so it was nice and quiet. Beside selling specialist coffee machines, the cafe had a yummy selection of pastries and Tom tried a fancy coffee served in a decanter called at chemex.

I've been asked to write an Edinburgh city guide for my favourite magazine Bust, so Tom and I were busy thinking up all the best places to recommend today.
