Mel and Dave joined us and it was time for some roller derby action at Earl’s Court.

The LRG got in touch a couple of days before to invite us along and I was super excited when the rollergirl who checked our names off the guestlist told us how much she loved CO+K and that she’d made a bunny ear hoodie from the site.

We sat ringside with donuts and beer.

Mel and I decided which teams to support by how cute the outfits were and the Harbour Grudges had made themselves amazing sailor uniforms.

Our choice worked out well as they won the match 79 to 71, taking the lead in the final few minutes of the game. Mel went home wanting to become a rollergirl. We came up the derby names of Melodramatic and Melancholy for her.
