Afterwards we went invited to a presentation of The World's First Diamond Ring at Il Bottaccio. The venue was gorgeous with a tree in the middle of the room covered in lights and jewels.

There was delicious canapés, cocktails and Diamant champagne.

There was lots of security as they had lots of jewellery on display. This moon necklace was my favourite.

One of the owners asked us which diamonds we liked best. I picked the heart, which he said was the lady's choice and Tom picked the pink diamond, which he said was the businessman's choice costing $7 million.

The diamond in the middle of this necklace is 5 carats.

There was then a presentation with a contorting dancer and a charity auction. They played an animation of how the world's first diamond ring, made completely out of diamond would look. It's going to cost £40 million but they need someone to order it before they make it so that they can make it to the correct finger size.

Afterwards we had a few more drinks, befriended an opera singer and were given goodie bags with a gigantic crystal inside.
