In the evening, we'd booked some tickets to see Top Gun at the It's On Drive-In Movie at The Royal Highland Show Ground as a surprise for my Dad.

We asked Dad to take us through the Krispy Kreme drive-through for donuts and then directed him "somewhere nearby where we could eat them". He got excited when signs for drive-in movies started appearing alongside the road.

It was lots of fun and the planes taking off at the airport behind the screen went well with the movie.
