Though we were really sleepy, we couldn't wait to see Jenny. We met up with her and her family for dinner at a traditional Japanese restaurant where we removed our shoes and sat in a private booth where you ring a door bell to call the waiter.


We entrusted Jenny with the menu and she ordered all kinds of weird and wonderful dishes, from fried fish fins to icky chewy raw squid which I wasn't able to swallow. Luckily, she's also ordered delicious cocktails to wash the food down including umeshu plum liqueur and a Korean liqueur.
