We then went to the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park which Pam had recommended to us in her city guide for CO+K.

It was so pretty and there were dozens of birds, black swans, koi and turtles in the pond.

The temple is a replica of a famous one in Japan and was built to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the arrival of the first Japanese visitors.

We bought some fish food to feed to the koi and it was fun to watch them swirling as they fought for it.
