Afterwards, we decided to go on an adventure to Eel Pie Island, which is in the middle of the Thames, just off the shore of Twickenham (where they still have a Wimpy?!). Tom said that Danny Wallace once tried to take it over.

The island was tiny but full of interesting little buildings and cottage. One had doll heads in the garden.
