After the showcase we had to rush back to the Nomad Lounge for the Emerging Designer Fashion Show. Megan had been given a private cabana and invited us to join her.

In the evening it was the launch night of Omaha Fashion Week, which is conveniently located at the Nomad Lounge, downstairs in our building. Coincidentally, the dressing rooms for the models are the two apartments across from ours, so we have to squeeze past them all to get in our door.

There were five designers showing their collections tonight. I liked this top the best.

We had dinner and it was then time for the second night of Omaha Fashion Week. We met up with Danion and Josh, who were friends with one of the designers showing.

The press area was so crowded that it was hard to take photos, so Tom stood up on the bar to take these shots for me.

We had dinner before heading for another night of Omaha Fashion Week. The first two designers were children's designers and the little models really scared Tom.

Princess Lasertron closed the show with her new collection.

Her special guest was Kat from Rock 'N Roll Bride who was closing the show.

Kat's from Reading and the cover star for our new issue of Snippets, so meeting up in Omaha was a crazy coincidence.

The second designer was Masey Rost who had a completely white collection.

In the evening, we headed to the drinks for Barcamp Omaha which were taking place downstairs at the Nomad Lounge.

There were drinks, nibble, a photo booth and free Freddie from MailChimp hats.

Today was Barcamp Omaha, a conference where anyone is welcome to speak for 30 minutes on anything the like relating to tech, creativity or entrupernership.

The best talk we saw was on how to use your camera which helped me finally master how to use the aperture settings.
