We continued our new Sunday tradition of lunch at Loch Fyne on the shore today with my parents and Nana.

Mussels & chips for lunch

This time I tried the mussels, which were delicious and left me feeling so full.

Double Cappucino for when a single one just won't do

We went for a coffee at Porto & Fi afterwards.

My Dad and I had the naughty idea to make both of our Siri's talk to one another. We set one off by saying hello to it and let them go back and forth from there. It was quite a funny conversation, so we'll need to take a video next time!

I'm so much of an organizing geek that I drew my own icons for my OmniFocus to-do list!

I've got the organization bug again and decided to revamp the icons on my OmniFocus to-do list.

You can see the difference between the two here. The original ones never made much sense to me so I drew more meaningful ones to make them stand out. I feel like such a nerd!

Tom and I went to Two Thin Laddies for lunch this afternoon and it was such a nice cafe with friendly staff. It reminded me of somewhere in Omaha.

Quiche & orange lemonade for lunch

I had the mushroom quiche which came with a really tasty salad and a pint of orange lemonade.

We were even given a free muffin of our choice each to take away. This one was so tasty.

It was Record Store Day today, so we headed down to Avalanche afterwards.

We arrived just in time to see Glasvegas play an acoustic set. It was so busy but they played all of the hits.

We picked up a copy of Biffy Clyro's new single and the Digital Ash In A Digital Urn record by Bright Eyes.

Chai latte

We then went for a chai latte at St. Gile's Cafe, which I haven't been to since I was 16. The two groups to either side of us were both speaking Italian so it didn't feel like we were in Edinburgh.

I tried on this gorgeous pair of shoes on the way home. I wish they came in purple though, because the hot pink doesn't really go with any of my clothes.

It's not every day that I get asked to make a bejewelled light-up eyepatch for the host of a Japanese travel show!

I was busy crafting to the stars today for La Carmina. She asked for something pirate themed that she could wear on an upcomming travel show, so I decided to make a bejewelled light-up eyepatch. I can't wait to see her model it!

Goats cheese, cranberry & walnut toastie and a huge pile of nachos!

We were so busy at work today, so we treated ourselves to lunch at Piece Box. We shared a goats cheese, cranberry & walnut toastie and a gigantic plate of nachos that the waitress warned us we wouldn't be able to finish... but we did!

We discovered this video on YouTube that someone had made using a slideshow of my photos. I wonder why?!

Designing favicons is so exciting!

Tom and I have been busying working on our new site, Look AT My Room this week and today we completed one of the most important to-dos when we designed the social media icon.

The two photos on the left were my contribution to the design process and the one on the right is Tom's finished design. I love how he can turn the images in my head in to real life designs and he's so good at it.

We've also got our first few rooms on the site and I can give you a sneak peek at one of them now. I can't wait until it's ready to launch, I think it's going to be addictive!

Back for more bento

We took my Mum to YummyTori for dinner this evening, while my Dad went to a whisky tasting. The bento box was totally different from last time and filled with delicious things like tempura sweet potato and grilled tofu.

I couldn't resist ordering a cherry blossom margarita which was amazing. Afterwards we went to see Place Beyond The Pines, which felt like three different movies in one and didn't feature enough Ryan Gosling.
